Jean-Guillaume Bart revived a forgotten piece of work for the Paris Opera Ballet entitled, "La Source". With music by Leo Delibes and Ludwig Minkus, the original ballet was set on the Paris Opera in 1866 and originally choreographed by Arthur Saint-Leon. Now, featured in two acts with sumptuous costumes created by Christian Lacroix adorned with Swarovski crystals and stunning sets by Eric Ruf, this ballet made its world premier in October. Below are some excerpts from this stunning ballet. For those of us not in Paris, let us hope for a DVD release, or possibly a tour of this work in the future...
